Melanie Kubin-Hardewig is Vice President, Group Sustainability Management at Deutsche Telekom. In her role she is responsible for a wide range of sustainability topics from environmental to social aspects, including sustainable supply chains and finance as well as the development of DT’s targets and KPIs. She is also helming DT’s #greenmagenta initiative. Melanie has previously held various management roles at different entities of Deutsche Telekom. She is a trained lawyer and holds an MBA.

Mechanical Engineer and Fluid Dynamist, TV presenter, TEDx Speaker, producer and author. Shini’s passion: to make science and technology accessible to all. She does so by presenting entertaining science segments for various TV shows – among others she has presented for BBC, Sky, Discovery and The Science Channel and TechKnow on Al Jazeera America. Shini hosts podcasts and writes children's STEM books (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).  Furthermore, she is committed to girls and women in the field of natural sciences – encouraging them to find their way in a male-dominated sector.

Max Thinius is one of Europe’s leading futurologists, specialising in society, sustainability, business and trade. Since 1988, Max has been studying the impact of technological and cultural change on the evolution of society. By exploring the complex interplay between the three pillars of business, politics, and civil society, he aims to promote “intellectual climate change” and a greater awareness of how such tri-sector models can benefit every facet of our lives. He applies tri-sector models to help drive innovation in a variety of areas, including food and health, working on behalf of SMEs, political organizations, trade associations, and thinktanks, in both an advisory and advocacy capacity. He will take part in panels on the changing face of food supply and many others centred on topics related to digitization and the future. Meet Max virtually or on stage at MWC 22 and learn about his vision for the world of tomorrow.
