Birgit Klesper takes you on a sustainable customer journey. #GreenMagenta stands for DT’s environmental commitment across its entire value chain. There is one challenge: How can we communicate our commitment to the customer in a credible and tangible way? Taking a virtual walk through a Telekom shop, you will learn how the customers benefit from the sustainable offers - including the green net, sustainable products,  services and devices, or circular service offerings that we are developing on our own or with partners such as Fairphone.

Melanie Kubin-Hardewig is Vice President, Group Sustainability Management at Deutsche Telekom. In her role she is responsible for a wide range of sustainability topics from environmental to social aspects, including sustainable supply chains and finance as well as the development of DT’s targets and KPIs. She is also helming DT’s #greenmagenta initiative. Melanie has previously held various management roles at different entities of Deutsche Telekom. She is a trained lawyer and holds an MBA.

Birgit Klesper is Senior Vice President Group Corporate Responsibility at Deutsche Telekom. Since 2006, she has held various management positions in areas such as Corporate Communications, Future Work and Transformational Change. The trained journalist previously headed group-wide corporate communications at Wella and worked for Tchibo and Philip Morris. Birgit is chair of the econsense board and member of various boards such as Global e-Sustainability Initiative and Aktion Deutschland hilft.
