Dr.-Ing. Julian Hofmann is the Co-founder and CEO of FloodWaive, a deep-tech spin-off from RWTH Aachen University. He has been researching flood risk management and early warning systems since 2017 and completed his PhD in this field in 2022. FloodWaive revolutionizes disaster resilience by combining physics-based flood modeling with Artificial Intelligence to provide real-time, street-precise flood forecasting. 

Bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and operational application, Julian also leads the "Flood Forecasting and Early Warning" research group at RWTH Aachen. He serves as a strategic advisor to government bodies and the Flood Competence Center (HKC), focusing on protecting critical infrastructure and Smart Cities by transforming complex environmental data into actionable, life-saving insights.

Yossi Altevet is an accomplished technology and product leader with deep experience in AI-driven product development, enterprise security, and network systems. 

As CTO of DeepKeep, he oversees the company’s technical strategy, product innovation, and engineering execution. 

His background spans senior roles across global technology organizations, where he led innovation, R&D, and product strategy initiatives.

Yossi Altevet

Based in Berlin, Tim Akgül leads Incubation Programs at hubraum, Deutsche Telekom’s tech incubator. He drives AI- and ecosystem-led corporate innovation at the intersection of startups, developers, and large enterprises.

Tim established Deutsche Telekom’s partnership with the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin and was responsible for several flagship ecosystem initiatives, including Deutsche Telekom’s GSMA-awarded 5G Ecosystem Program, the AI Co-Creation Program (2024), and the AI Cybersecurity Co-Creation Program (2025). As dedicated AI enthusiast, Tim focuses on continuous improvement, scalable innovation, and turning emerging technologies into real-world impact. 

Prior to Deutsche Telekom, he founded an e-commerce company and gained international experience at Daimler AG and T-Systems Turkey.
