Dr. Maximilian Ahrens has served as Managing Director of T Digital at Deutsche Telekom since January 2023. Previously, he was CTO and VP Cloud Strategy at T-Systems, Deutsche Telekom’s enterprise division.
Maximilian brings an entrepreneurial background to his role. Before joining T-Systems, he founded a cloud infrastructure technology company and later sold a majority stake in the business. The company enabled customers to deploy and manage distributed cloud environments. As CTO and CPO, he led product strategy and oversaw the engineering organization.
Maximilian served on the Board of Directors of the GAIA-X Association and chaired the board from 2021 to 2023.
