Live video production involves the process of creating and broadcasting video content in real-time. This can be done for various purposes, such as live streaming of sports or music events. Topic of this session is to talk about upcoming technologies and already existing products like 5G slicing. Panel-Participants will give insights how they gain benefit from using these technologies and how they are using these. Participants will discuss business as well as technological aspects and talk on the basis of concrete use cases from Europe and the US.

Jens Schilder, Project Engineer at RTL Germany, specializes in mobile networks, transmission and production technology. With a background in media technology and communication systems, he manages innovative projects, particularly in the area of 5G, satellite communications, and remote TV productions. After his studies in Düsseldorf and Cologne, he worked as a systems engineer and consultant in broadcasting and telecommunications.

Peter is a member of the Executive Board and the Chief Executive Officer of SPORTTOTAL AG. He is a successful entrepreneur and sports business expert with more than 25 years of experience in the business.
Peter Lauterbach, born in Darmstadt in 1976, started as CEO of _wige MEDIA AG in Cologne in 2013, after being appointed to the board of directors in 2011 when ByLauterbach GmbH was brought in. Already during his studies of political science, history and law at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, he worked as an editor and presenter for Radio FFH and the KirchGroup, among others. In 2003 he founded ByLauterbach GmbH and developed the company very successfully. For Sky Deutschland he moderated Formula 1 from 2007 before he joined _wige, transformed it into SPORTTOTAL and disrupted the broadcast market with his invention of AI based automated Live Streaming on the base of 5G together with Deutsche Telekom.

Peter Arbitter has been working in the ICT industry since 1991. After holding various executive positions at Siemens and T-Systems, he moved to Microsoft Deutschland GmbH in 2011 to head up technical support for enterprise customers. After two years, he was responsible for the business unit "Cloud & Enterprise".
In 2016, Peter Arbitter re-joined Deutsche Telekom to lead the portfolio- and product-management unit of the German B2B entity. Since January 2024 he has taken over the End-to-End responsibility for the Network API Exposure business at Deutsche Telekom.
