Deutsche Telekom’s tech incubator hubraum has organized for the second time their sustainability award, this year focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability in telco networks. With their partners Deutsche Telekom, Orange, SK Telecom and Microsoft they have chosen 4 winners out of more than 200 applications. During this Network Sustainability Award ceremony, the award winners will be announced.

He specializes in energy storage project development for industries with focus on improving energy procurement cost while significantly lowering the ecological footprint. Thierry Lamidieu is an entrepreneur and business developer motivated by healthy work environments where everyone does their best to have a positive impact on the economy and society. He is currently the founder and CEO of Inergys, which focuses on design and industrialization of products which capture renewable energies to produce electricity. Prior to this, Thierry was Managing Director at SDRC and Graitec in France. In 2007 he bought Somac and managed a team of 50 people manufacturing equipment for the automotive industry. He started his career as a product designer at Philips, Thomson and Computervison in the Netherlands, and subsequently became sales engineer at Racal and Schlumberger in the UK. Thierry currently resides in his native country France with his wife and three children.

Mark Chung is Co-founder and CEO of Verdigris Technologies. As a seasoned engineer with more than 25 years of experience, Mark has served as principal engineer at a number of famed Silicon Valley startups including NexGen, Pasemi, RMI and NetLogic. Mark has also co-developed some of the world’s most successful chips such as Opteron, XLP, and A7, among others. Mark is an advisor to several startups and was recognized as one of the “40 under 40” in 2017 by Silicon Valley Business Journal.
