Carlos Callejero is CEO and co-founder of Digitanimal, a company founded in 2015 to locate and monitor extensive livestock. Digitanimal now offers a comprehensive livestock management system that provides and interprets a wide range of data to improve the productivity of livestock farms.

The need to connect animals has led Digitanimal to collaborate with DT from the development of the first NB-IoT GPS tracking devices to the present day. 

A PhD in Physics and an expert in millimeter wave and THz systems, he has participated in several working groups of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, NATO and EDA, and has been a co-founding partner in several technology companies.

Rafa Martínez is an electronics engineer and hardware designer with over 20 years of experience in research, industrial R&D, and product deployment. He started his career at Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland, focusing on low-power wireless communications, and later coordinated RF and wireless projects at Tyndall National Institute, publishing extensively. After moving to industry, Rafa specialized in mixed-signal, RF, and low-power hardware for connected devices, with a focus on cellular communications like NB-IoT and LTE-M. 
Since 2018, he has been R&D Director at Datakorum, overseeing the development of IoT hardware and firmware deployed across Europe and the Middle East. His work on satellite-based IoT was recently recognized with Deutsche Telekom’s Satellite NB-IoT Early Adopter Program Innovation Award.

Rafa Martínez Catalá

Jens leads Deutsche Telekom's Satellite IoT program, integrating satellite networks into DT’s IoT connectivity portfolio to enable worldwide coverage. With over a decade of experience as a senior product manager, he has led key IoT innovations including the commercial launch of NB-IoT and LTE-M connectivity.

Since 2017 Jens has been representing Deutsche Telekom at IoT-related GSMA groups, initially at the NB-IoT Forum, now as the chairman of the IoT Strategy Group.

He joined Deutsche Telekom in 2005, where he managed the first corporate transformation program towards Next-Generation-Networks and subsequently shaped the build-up of the company’s first product design unit. Prior to joining DT, he worked at Accenture's Communications & HighTech strategy consulting unit in Frankfurt, London and Düsseldorf.

Jimmy Kassis is the Global Sales Director for NTN Direct at Iridium, where he leads the development of the NTN Direct ecosystem and builds strategic partnerships to integrate satellite connectivity into partners’ portfolios. With over 17 years of experience in partnership development and product management, he specializes in IoT/M2M, satellite and wireless technologies. He has led major initiatives, including the global commercial launch of NB-IoT and LTE-M services and the development of alliances and partnerships that deliver a consistent customer experience in the most challenging environments worldwide. Prior to joining Iridium, he directed AT&T’s roaming, resale and MVNO operations, negotiating agreements with global carriers and forging international operator partnerships that expanded connectivity.
