János Horváth-Varga is the Head of AI and Contact Center CoE at Magyar Telekom Enterprise Unit. Under his management the CoE developed Telekom CoMind, the generative AI platform for B2B customers providing secure and scalable agentic AI solutions. Before the GenAI boom, he was managing the team that created the first commercially successful voicebot solution in Hungary: Telekom Vanda.
János graduated as an IT engineer from the Technical University of Budapest. He began his career in 2001 as a software developer at Telekom. Later, he worked with IP networks, PBXs, and mobile security solutions. Since 2006, he has been involved with contact centers, first as an engineer, later as an architect. Since the launch of Telekom's Vanda in 2018, his main focus has been the corporate application of AI. His current focus is to make CoMind and custom AI applications a success both in Hungary and in the DT EU countries.
