He has a PhD in Computer Sciences and is editor of numerous specialized books such as cloud computing, IT security, Service and Leadership. Markus joined ServiceNow in August 2023. In his role as Senior Group Vice President EMEA Central, he has overall responsibility for the business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). 

In this role, he is responsible for expanding partnerships and customer relationships, driving success and innovation as well as building and growing ServiceNow's team in these regions. 

Prior to ServiceNow, Markus was Senior Vice President Germany for Salesforce’s key account business and represented the interests of German customers, employees and partners as a member of the DACH management team. 

He has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry through his roles in leadership positions at major corporations such as SAP, IBM and Netscape. In addition to his responsibilities, Markus Ehrle is committed as a mentor for German startups and volunteers with education and non-profit transformation projects.
