Dr. Matheus Sena is an R&D Architect and Business Expert for Quantum Networks at Deutsche Telekom’s T-Labs in Berlin, working on the testing and design of quantum technologies for fiber-based networks.
He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from TU Berlin. His research focuses on entanglement distribution, routing, and the multiplexing of entanglement alongside classical traffic, as well as the integration of quantum systems into existing telecom infrastructure. He has contributed to several large-scale field experiments demonstrating high-fidelity entanglement transmission and quantum-layer monitoring in metropolitan networks, advancing the development towards the Quantum Internet.
He is the author of invited papers and keynotes at highly prestigious IEEE journals and leading international optical communication conferences, such as OFC and ECOC.
