Greece's journey to a digital public sector: An interview with Dominique Leroy and Konstantinos Kyranakis

Dominique Leroy, joined the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom Group on November 1, 2020. She is responsible for the Board Area Europe and is a member of the Board of T-Mobile US and OTE S.A. Dominique Leroy has over 30 years of experience in the consumer goods and telecommunication sector. She started her career at Unilever where her last position was Managing Director for Belgium and Luxembourg. In 2011, she joined Proximus where she quickly became Head of the Consumer Market and held the position of CEO from 2014 till 2019. During this time, she managed to turn around the company with a continuous growth phase and a strong customer experience focus.

Konstantinos Kyranakis is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens with postgraduate studies in Strategic Communication at the American College of Athens. He has worked as a freelancer in the field of digital marketing, creating websites and applications. He was a co-founder of the BrainGain initiative for the return of young people to Greece. In January 2017, the international magazine "Forbes" selected him among the 30 most influential young people under 30 in Europe, in the Law & Policy category. He is a twice elected Member of Parliament and on June 27 he was sworn in as Deputy Minister of Digital Governance.

Grigoris Christopoulos brings with him more than 20 years of experience in Telecommunications and Sales. He joined OTE Group of companies in 2000 as a Sales Network Deputy Director at COSMOTE S.A. In the following years, Grigoris held various management positions, including Executive Sales Director at COSMOTE S.A., and Executive Sales Director Fixed & Mobile. In his previous position as Business Sales & Marketing Executive Director Fixed & Mobile, he accounted for the B2B strategic planning and implementation, as well as the transformation and consolidation of Fixed, Mobile and ICT convergence. 
Mr. Christopoulos holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Patras, Greece.

Ulf Ewaldsson is the President of Technology at T-Mobile. The network and innovation expert is currently responsible for managing and developing T-Mobile’s wireless network, information technology services, and technology operations.
Ewaldson joined T-Mobile in 2019 to lead and transform T-Mobile’s 5G network deployment. Previously, he held various leadership positions at networking and telecommunications company Ericsson in Sweden.
