Boris Drilo has held the position of CTIO at Hrvatski Telekom since 2017 and is responsible for development and implementation of latest mobile and fixed networks technologies, information and business systems. During his mandate, Hrvatski Telekom achieved several industry changing achievements, such as the launch of the first commercial 5G network in Croatia, the biggest fiber roll-outs, all-time best network performance, continuously winning awards and recognitions for the best mobile and fixed networks. As the CEO of Bellevue-based AI company Tupl, Petri ensures that the truly international team of Tupleers creates "Automation by AI" magic every day. Petri joined Tupl when the company was emerging from stealth mode (Q4 2015) and moved with his family from Japan to the Greater Seattle area.
Under his leadership, Tupl has been at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into network operations, driving advancements in operational efficiency and automation across several industry segments (Telecommunications, Industry, Agriculture, Health, etc.).
Tupl has since grown into an international company with subsidiaries in Europe and Japan.
Petri’s most recent position prior to Tupl was as Nokia CTO for the Japan & APAC markets. During an earlier stint in Japan, Petri was instrumental in growing the network business six-fold, reaching well over 1 billion USD in sales. Petri also worked in the Seattle area as CTO for Nokia towards T-Mobile, orchestrating a new mobile network solution that millions of T-Mobile users are now enjoying.
