With global discussions around 6G intensifying and international bodies and operators increasingly adapting, 6G technology is an opportunity for the ecosystem to put the user at the centre of network technology again. Adhering to the UN sustainability targets, 6G should aim for carbon neutral networks as well as help promote human well-being. Among other topics, speakers will address 6G as a trustworthy network for all users, the programmability of networks, as well as customer centricity such as benefits in power consumption, connectivity, flexibility in service booking and full automation.

Prof. Frank H. P.  Fitzek is professor and head of the “Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks” at TU Dresden, coordinating the 5G Lab Germany. He is spokesman of the CeTI Cluster of Excellence of the DFG. In 2015 he received an honorary doctorate from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE). His current research interests are in the areas of 5G communication networks, network coding, cloud computing, compressed sensing, and cooperative networking

Arash Ashouriha is Chairman of the Board of NGMN at Deutsche Telekom and in charge of the strategic development and architectural evolution of the technology area including OSS, alongside technology innovation management, patent management and standardization. In addition, he oversees strategic technology innovation projects. Prior to joining Deutsche Telekom, Arash was with Vodafone Group for 15 years, where he held multiple, international senior management roles both in technology and IT.

Dr. Konstantinos Chalkiotis joined Deutsche Telekom in 2013 as Vice President Mobile Access, primarily focussing on defining the strategy, architecture, innovation and blueprints for mobile access networks in Deutsche Telekom. Since 2016 he has been responsible for the architecture of fixed networks within Deutsche Telekom. In his VP role he is responsible for access and home networks in Strategy & Technology Innovation and working for Technology Architecture & Innovation.

Peter Stuckmann is Head of Future Connectivity Systems at the European Commision, managing the Commission's policy on 5G communication systems and the related research and innovation program. In 2021 he was designated Deputy Director for Future Networks with a portfolio including future connectivity, cloud and software, internet policy, governance and IoT. Before joining the European Commission in 2004, he held several engineering and management positions in industry, academia and start-ups.
