Senseable living

The way we live, work, and play is different today than it was a few decades ago. We are beginning a tech revolution, as the Internet enters the physical space and becomes an “Internet of Things.” It is opening the door to applications that encompass many domains: production, citizen participation, energy, mobility and public hygiene, all of which require new insights due to the pandemic. Prof. Carlo Ratti addresses these issues through projects by the Senseable City Laboratory, a research initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the design office Carlo Ratti Associati.
